Your family session will be relaxed, fun and completely pressure free whether we’re in the comfort of your own home or exploring the outdoors. I’ll gently guide you with simple prompts but mostly I’ll encourage you to enjoy time together - cuddles on the sofa, exploring outdoors or walking hand in hand. There’s no need to worry about perfect poses or perfect behaviour; the magic is in the real moments and I will quietly capture the natural connections between you.

For women from 28 - 36 weeks pregnant.

Maternity sessions are calm, relaxed and focused on celebrating you and your growing baby. Whether we’re capturing quiet moments in the comfort of your own home or heading outdoors for fresh air, I’ll guide you with simple prompts so that you feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. My aim is to create images that feel soft, natural and true to you , capturing the anticipation and love surrounding this chapter in your life. Partners or siblings are welcome to join to share this special moment.

MILESTONE

 

 

For the special birthday boy or girl.

Cake smash and milestone sessions are all about  celebrating your little one. These sessions are fun, relaxed and playful. Led by your child, there will be plenty of time to explore, get messy and show their personality. I will gently guide the session but your child will have the space to enjoy the experience at their own pace - whether that means diving straight into the cake or needing a bit of time to warm up. The giggles, the curiosity and the messy faces are what make these memories so special.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do i book?

You can either email me at vickimarshphotos@outlook.com or DM me on my Instagram page. I will get back to you as quickly as I can. To secure a photography session I require a small deposit and then the remaining balance the week of your photoshoot.

WHAT should I WEAR?

Before your photoshoot, I will send out a short style guide to help you to prepare your outfits. Neutral and earthy tones photograph best. There is no need to have matching family outfits, just colours that compliment each other. I am always on hand to answer any wardrobe questions before your photoshoot.

what if my child does not want to behave?

This is all part of the fun! My aim is to make your session as enjoyable and relaxed as possible. I am also a primary school teacher so know exactly how children behave and what makes them tick. The best photographs are in the moment and are not posed anyway.

how long does it take to get my album?

I aim to have your soft edit to you within a week. You can then pick your favourite 10 images and I will complete the full edit on these images and send them to you. Most customers purchase an additional couple of images at only £5 per image.

which outdoor location can we shoot at?

I have a few outdoor local outdoor locations that I have photographed but if there is somewhere special to you, then I am happy to travel and photograph you/you and your family there.

what if it rains?

I will keep a close eye on the weather in the days running up to your photoshoot. If the weather is miserable (as sometimes happens in this country), I will be in touch with you to rearrange your session at a convenient time.

what if i am nervous?

Do not worry. So many families tell me that they are not photogenic or they do not know how to pose. Let me worry about those details and you can worry about having fun, being in the moment and enjoying yourselves.

do we need to meet beforehand?

I usually do not need to meet with you before your session. We will keep in touch and discuss details of the photoshoot. I am always happy to answer any of your questions via email, whats app or on Instagram before your session. When we meet on the day, we will have a chat and get to know each other briefly before we begin.
